Joss Whedon's Justice League Reshoots Are Said To Be 'Extensive'

Original Justice League director Zack Snyder has left the project in order to tend to his personal family tragedy, and Avengers' Joss Whedon has taken over Snyder's duties in the post-production process. As of now, the movie is said to be undergoing reshoots in London, and they are said to be pretty extensive.

Batman-On-Film writes:

"I have been told by a 100% vetted and more-than-reliable source that re-shoots on Justice League have commenced in London under the helm of Joss Whedon and that they will be 'significant.' So much so, that these reshoots are expected to take place through June and July, and maybe into August. They are NOT your 'standard pick-ups.'"

Reshoots are actually quite normal for any production, and studios usually plan them way before any of the principal photography starts, but with the rumors suggesting that these reshoots will be more than mere ‘standard pick-ups,' I'm just hoping that everything wraps up nicely before the movie comes out in November. If worse comes to worse, I would rather they push the release date back.

In hindsight, I think that Whedon is very good at telling stories compared to Zack Snyder, who had trouble telling his narrative for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Though Snyder may have the upper hand with visual style and choice of theme, hopefully Whedon is able to brush everything up to deliver a blockbuster as good as Wonder Woman.

Justice League is set to come out Nov. 17.
