Giancarlo Esposito Explains How The Empire Will Transition In The Mandalorian

Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and The Mandalorian TV series are upon us. So, we'll be consuming a lot of fan theories and predictions before their releases. But don't worry, Giancarlo Esposito, the actor playing Moff Gideon, narrowed down the plot and shared how the Fallen Empire will fit into The Mandalorian.

Esposito talked to IGN to promote the series and give some snippets. In this period, the Empire has a mutual relationship with bounty hunters because of the absence of the government. Meanwhile, Esposito's Moff Gideon will play an essential role in the rise of the First Order. In essence, The Mandalorian will show how the Empire will face the transition and rise from the ashes.

"The Empire has basically fallen...So their relationship with bounty hunters is a little tenuous. I think they want to extinguish them because they create disorder. And they create... bounty means money means it's not coming to them. We want to tax that a little bit. So it will be interesting to see what happens out of that relationship, " Esposito said.

Now that the Star Wars franchise is highlighting plots and eras we've never seen before, we need to keep up with the story of every movie and TV series coming their way.
