Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin just made another milestone after they were named as part of this nominee list of the 2021 Seoul International Drama Awards. The former husband of Song Hye Kyo and his leading lady are vying for the Best Actor and Best Actress awards, respectively.

The organizing committee of the 2021 Seoul International Drama Awards released the list of the official nominees for this year's awards on Friday, Aug. 20. Among the names written on the said list are Vincenzo stars Song Joong Ki and Jeon Yeo Bin.
Song Joong Ki is vying for the Best Actor award for his notable portrayal as Vincenzo Cassano and Park Joo Hyung in the popular K-drama series Vincenzo. The 35-year-old Hallyu superstar will have to beat Song Kang of Sweet Home, Nam Joo Hyuk of Start-Up, and Uhm Ki Joon of The Penthouse, among others, to bring home the said award.

As for Song Joong Ki's leading lady, Jeon Yeo Bin, who portrayed Hong Cha Young in Vincenzo, is vying for the Best Actress award. However, she will have to defeat Kim So Yeon and Lee Ji Ah of The Penthouse, Suzy of Start-Up, Lee Yu Ri of Lie After Lie, among others, to be announced as the category's official winner.

Meanwhile, Song Joong Ki bagged the Actor of the Year award at this year's 2021 Brand of the Year Awards. Aside from the former husband of Song Hye Kyo, Vincenzo also bagged the Drama of the Year Award.

Other than Song Joong Ki, Minari star Youn Yuh Jung was also proclaimed the winner of the Actress of the Year award. Lee Do Hyun of Youth of May nabbed the Rising Star Actor Award while Girl's Day member Hyeri, who appeared in My Roommate Is A Gumiho, was named Rising Star Actress of the year.
Kim Young Dae and Han Ji Hyun of The Penthouse Season 3 got the Rookie Actor and Rookie Actress awards. ASTRO member Cha Eun Woo was given the Idol-Actor Award while WJSN member Bona got the Idol-Actress award. BTS and IU were proclaimed the Male Idol and Female Idol awardees.
