Bursavich was the first player to make it to Top 8 on Day 2 with three rounds to spare. In the Top 8 bracket, he lost to Raphael Levy in the first round, but won four straight three-game matches in the lower bracket to make it to the finals. He used an Omnath Adventures Standard deck and an Omnath Ramp Historic deck in the three-day tournament, but the Top 8 only used Standard decks.

In the final match, Bursavich battled it out against his teammate Aaron Gertler in an Omnath Adventures best-of-three mirror match.

It was clear that four-color Omnath Adventures was the best Standard deck in the meta. Five out of the eight Top 8 players played an Omnath deck, and by the end of the lower-bracket round 2, all remaining decks were Omnath Adventures. The non-Omnath decks were Dimir Rogues, piloted by Seth Manfield, and Gruul Adventures, piloted by Autumn Burchett and Emma Handy. However, these decks ultimately fell to Omnath's power.

The Grand Finals marks the conlusion of the 2020 season and the beginning of Zendikar Rising split.
