Wizards of the Coast has released a new teaser trailer for the upcoming Magic: The Gathering expansion Zendikar Rising. The teaser features a beautiful flower on top of a cliff as the earth shakes. We also see the familiar hedrons and landscapes that make Zendikar remarkable. While the teaser doesn't reveal any story details, we can hear a female voice saying, "I will fulfill my destiny. Zendikar will rise". Could that be Nissa's voice or Nahiri's?

The tagline of Zendikar Rising reads "Adventure awaits." It looks like the Eldrazi are gone, so I wonder what the story of the set will be. Although WotC hasn't revealed any new cards from Zendikar Rising, Magic head designer Mark Rosewater revealed some details about the new set last month.
Zendikar Rising is set to release on September 25, 2020; it will release on MTG Arena on Sept. 17.
