Starship Troopers Might Return as A Movie or TV Series

The military science fiction franchise Starship Troopers might return as a movie or TV series. During an interview with Hitfix, producer Neal Moritz teased his plans for the franchise, saying:

"We're developing it. We've actually been talking about either doing it as a feature or doing it as a television show. So, we'll see."

The series is based on Robert A. Heinlein's science fiction novel first published in 1959, and it's about an interstellar war between the Terran Federation of Earth and the Arachnids (referred to as "The Bugs") of Klendathu. Starship Troopers as a series sounds exciting; Moritz has been working on this project for years, and it's good to know that he's determined to revive the franchise.
