Rumored Obi-Wan Kenobi Trilogy Might Include Darth Maul

Reports about Lucasfilm developing an Obi-Wan Kenobi trilogy have been floating around for months, and Schmoes Know claims to know more details on the trilogy that include info about Ewan McGregor's involvement and other characters that could possibly appear such as Darth Maul.

The source claims that McGregor is in talks with Lucasfilm and Disney to reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a trilogy outside of the Star Wars Anthology films. They go on to clarify that the stories will take place after the events of Episode III: Revenge of the Sith.

The site says that the "standalone adventures" would "would focus on Obi-Wan's adventures between the two trilogies as he watches over a maturing Luke Skywalker", and that there's a possibility we would see the return of some characters like Darth Maul and Owen Lars.

Like a plethora of other Star Wars rumors floating online, take this as a grain of salt. Schmoes Knows also recently reported that Han Solo and Boba Fett will be the central characters in the second Star Wars Anthology film.

Would you like to see Ewan McGregor reprise his role as Obi-Wan Kenobi in a new trilogy? And I'm sure many of you would like to see Darth Maul return on screen.
