Lana Wachowski’s The Matrix 4 is one of the most anticipated sci-fi films coming this year, and fans can't wait to see Keanu Reeves and Carrie Anne-Moss jack back into action. There are also newcomers to the upcoming sequel, including Priyanka Chopra, Neil Patrick Harris, Jada Pinkett Smith, Yahya Abdul-Mateen II, and Jessica Yu Li Henwick. And now, Henwick is teasing some grueling action scenes in Matrix 4

The Game of Thrones and Iron Fist star has done some action scenes in her roles from those shows, and it sounds like she's going to be heavily involved in The Matrix's signature action. The 28-year-old actress recently spoke to Empire about her mysterious role in The Matrix 4, teasing the physical nature of it.

"I haven’t seen a cut of the film, so I don’t know what’s in it and what isn’t, but I trained every day for months," Henwick said. "There are a couple of cast members who didn’t have any physical stuff and they were so sad. How can you be in The Matrix and not get to do any of the good stuff?"

"I grew up thinking Matrix was the coolest thing ever," she added. "Bullet-time, the multiple agents, the pills and the rabbit! When I signed on, I said the three things I want are a leather jacket, sunglasses and some wire work. I got two out of the three – I’ll leave you to guess which ones."

It sounds like Henwick didn't want to miss out on all the fun. She had an insane schedule for The Matrix 4 including training every day but she was involved in some exciting action scenes.

Henwick's comments give us a brief glimpse into what it's like working on The Matrix 4, which wrapped production after an extended shoot.
