The new Magic: The Gathering expansion Zendikar Rising is set to release soon, and the debut of the Set Boosters is coming with the release of the set. Today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed that the Set Boosters will include minigames that you can play with your packs with a friend or a group. These minigames are meant to be played with the contents of a Set Booster, but they can also work with other kinds of boosters.
In a blog published on the official MTG website, Annie Sardelis explained that the idea of printing the minigames came from the 2019 Hackaton. "I pitched creating some minigames that could be played with a booster pack," she wrote. "Not just any kind of minigame, but rather ones that may not require playing Magic at all."

Booster Blitz
Booster Sleuth
Roil Royale
Strictly Better
These games look fun to play with friends, and could make the booster pack-opening experience more exciting.
Zendikar Rising is set to release on September 25, 2020; it will release on MTG Arena on Sept. 17.
