Magic: The Gathering Core Set 2021 Official Preview Season Start Date Revealed


The next Magic: The Gathering set Core Set 2021 is coming this July, and Wizards of the Coast is getting ready to reveal the new cards and reprints that will be featured in the upcoming expansion.

At the Wizards Play Network website, WOTC recently revealed when the official preview season for Core Set 2021 will begin (June 4) as well as other key dates for the set's launch. You can check out the key dates below:

May 18 \n Scheduling Opens for Love Your Local Game Store Promotional Event, Core Set 2021 , and Jumpstart \n Launch Events
June 4 \n Digital Marketing Assets Wave 1: Facebook, Web Banners, and Key Art\n Card Previews Begin
June 5 \n First Available Date for Love Your Local Game Store Promotional Event (Varies by region. Read more here .)
June 16–22 \n Marketing Kit, Promo Pack, and Buy-a-Box Delivery
June 19 \n Digital Marketing Assets Wave 2: Planeswalker Decks
June 26–July 2 \n Prerelease
Late June (Estimated) \n WPN Premium Marketing Kit Delivery
July 3 \n Release
July 4–5 \n Launch Party (Sealed Deck)

Not much is known about Core Set 2021; we know that Teferi will be the featured planeswalker, and that it's the first core set to feature Collector Boosters.

Core Set 2021 will be released on July 3.
