Magic: The Gathering Arena has been a useful platform for new MTG players to learn and play, and Wizards of the Coast and the game's developers are continuously finding ways for them to learn not just the basic rules of the game, but also the different kinds of strategies they can perform. This month, Arena will continue to help players get the "feel" of each color with the new Color Challenges.

As part of the game's March 2020 update, MTG Arena will be introducing the new Color Challenges, aimed to help new players learn the fundamentals of playing Magic.

Here's a basic overview of the Color Challenges

> Account Mastery has been removed; players now earn new player rewards (additional decks, Wildcards, etc.) by completing Color Challenges.

> There are five Color Challenges (one for each color of Magic), and each Challenge contains five challenges.

> Existing players can access and play the Color Challenges through the "Learn More" page.

If you lose a match in the Color Challenges, you will see a post-game tip that highlights the spells and combat tricks you can use:

You can check out the other new features they're adding to MTG Arena with the latest update here

MTG Arena's game update is scheduled for Thursday, March 12. The Secret Lair Thalia: Beyond the Helvault will also be available for 24 hours on that day.
