The Magic: The Gathering 2020 Season Grand Finals is scheduled to start soon, and today, Wizards of the Coast has revealed the Standard and Historic metagame breakdown of the biggest MTG tournament this year, and it's clear that Omnath is dominating both metas.

The Top 16 players from the Players Tour Finals and the Top 16 players from the 2020 Mythic Invitational are competing for their share of the $250,000 prize pool, and the formats for the three-day event are Standard Constructed and Historic Consturcted. Now we know what decks they will be playing, and WotC has published the metagame breakdown.

Standard Metagame

71.8% of the Standard metagame are Omnath decks with 19 people playing Omnath Adventures and 4 people playing Omnath Ramp.

Historic Metagame

The Historic meta looks healthier with 34.4% playing Omnath Ramp, and there's a lot more variety of archetypes like Neoform, Jund Sacrifice, and Bant Control. Decklists for the tournament will be available after the beginning of Round 1 on the 2020 Season Grand Finals event page, but you can check some of the decklist already posted on MTGArenaZone here.
