Wizards of the Coast Cuts Ties With Magic: The Gathering Artist Noah Bradley

Publisher Wizards of the Coast cut ties with Magic: The Gathering artist Noah Bradley on Monday following multiple sexual harassment accusations against him and his own admission to predatory behavior this past Sunday.

According to WotC's statement released on Monday, the company will no longer commission artwork from Bradley and will remove reprints of his work from future products.

"Wizards is committed to nurturing a safe and fun environment for all in its community and does not tolerate abusive behavior or harassment," WotC said in the statement. "Unfortunately, an artist that we work with, Noah Bradley, engaged in inappropriate sexual conduct with members of the Magic and artist community."

The statement comes after Bradley posted a letter on Twitter admitting his predatory behavior following the initial accusation of concept artist Betty Jiang, who said that he "went around groping female devs, and ended up having his face bit after trying to pour drinks down the throat of a girl whose already very intoxicated."

Following Jiang's tweet, other women around the art industry shared their experiences with sexual harassment as well as stories about Bradley's alleged predatory experiences.

"I was terrible to women," Bradley stated. "I preyed on them. I ceaselessly hit on them. I pressured them into sex. I got too drunk and did all manner of dumb things. Yes, I was one of those shitty, creepy sexual predators you hear about."

"I am deeply sorry for everything I did," he continued. "I apologize for the selfish, cruel, insensitive way I acted. It's no way for anyone to act. I'm so sorry."

Wizards explained that due to the long timeframe from commissioning art to printing products, Bradley's art will be featured in products currently on schedule to launch.
