Sam Raimi's Spider-Man films were spectacular even though Tobey Maguire was arguably too old to play the character from the start. Marvel Studios avoided that problem by casting 19-year-old Tom Holland to play the webslinger in Captain America: Civil War, and his scenes were amazing, and proved to be the version most faithful to the comics. Holland will appear again in Spider-Man: Homecoming, which is set to release next year. He made such an unforgettable impression that even the former Spider-Man actor, Toby Maguire, praised Holland's performance by sharing a funny edited clip of his character watching footage of Holland's Spidey in Civil War.
