Cyberpunk 2077: Proof That This Will Be One of The Biggest Games Ever Made

If you're planning to get CD Projekt Red's highly-anticipated Cyberpunk 2077 next year, you might want to consider investing in a new hard drive for PlayStation 4 or XBox One.

The European PSN pre-order page for PlayStation 4 has recently revealed new details about Cyberpunk 2077. According to the pre-order page, Cyberpunk 2077 will take up a minimum of 80GB on PlayStation, and there's a good chance this number will increase when the game actually releases in April 2020.

The huge file size proves that this game is bigger than CD Projekt Red's 2015 action-RPG, The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt, which required at least 50 GB minimum to install. It already makes Cyberpunk 2077 one of the biggest games on PlayStation 4, and any increase could potentially see it surpass Red Dead Redemption.

While fans might have to spend a lot of time to download Cyberpunk 2077 before you can play it, CD Projekt will almost certainly give players a pre-load option, which will ensure that the game will be ready by the time it launches.

In addition to the new details revealed by the Cyberpunk 2077 pre-order page, CD Projekt is also giving away a free Cyberpunk-themed download to fans. PlayStation 4 users can download a special Cyberpunk 2077 home screen for their consoles. "After downloading, you can select the theme you want to use via the Themes option on the PS4 system's Settings menu."

Cyberpunk 2077 is set to release on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on April 16, 2020. Keanu Reeves is playing a major role in the game.
