Shueisha and Viz Media recently released a new chapter of Boruto: Naruto Next Generations, continuing where Chapter 61 left off: Kawaki erasing his chakra to escape Konoha without being detected by the surveillance team, so he could find Code. However, it looks like Code finds him first in Chapter 62, and the powerful villain who inherited the will of Otsutsuki Isshiki has updated his vengeance list.

In the latest chapter, Code is able to locate Kawaki's whereabouts thanks to Eida's intel, and Kawaki is surprised to see the villain chasing him from behind. Code begins attacking him, and Eida reminds Code not to kill Kawaki. Kawaki says that he went out of Konoha so he could find Code, and asks the villain to kill him instead and leave Konoha alone. However, Code reveals his bigger plans, and that killing everyone off his list is just the first stage.
The manga series previously revealed that Kawaki is one of the primary targets in Code's vegenance list after the death of Isshiki, but it looks like he's made a recent update. In Boruto Chapter 62, Kawaki reveals that he's excluded from his vengeance list because someone wants to meet him. Fans already know that person is Eida, the clairvoyant cyborg who believes that either Boruto or Kawaki could potentially be the boyfriend she desired because of how the Otsutsuki-modifications that they underwent.

While Code beats up Kawaki in the new chapter, now we know that he doesn't have the intentions to kill him, at least not just yet. Code wants to bring him to Eida, but Boruto is able to interfere and kick Code off to save Kawaki in the final two pages of Chapter 62.
Now that we know that Code has made an exception to remove Kawaki's name from his vengeance list, it's still likely that he still aims to kill Naruto, Sasuke, and Boruto, but what is he planning to do with Kawaki? Does Eida have bigger plans for him? It looks like Chapter 63 will be an intense one as it looks like Boruto is about to fight Code.
