When Will VALORANT Episode 2, Act 3 Begin?

When will VALORANT Episode 2, Act 3 start?

VALORANT Episode 2, Act 3 is expected to start on April 27, 2021 following the conclusion of Act 2.

Act 2 saw a bunch of new changes, and added the new agent Astra, a galaxy Controller from Ghana who uses her astral projection to place stars across the map, which she can activate as smoke, concussive charge, or gravity well. The current act's Patch 2.06 also significantly buffered Viper and Yoru, nerfed the Bucky shotgun, and added the Escalation game mode.

Breeze - The 6th VALORANT map

Riot has been teasing the next VALORANT beach map for about a month now, going as far back as including a tropical beach-themed backdrop in an April Fools Joke. Data miners have also unearthed audio files revealing tropical-themed music, and recently the developers confirmed that the name of the next map is called Breeze.

Riot also revealed new images of Breeze, giving us our first look at a never-before-seen stone archway. If Breeze is officially confirmed to be released in Episode 2, Act 3, it will be the sixth map in VALORANT.

New VALORANT Battle Pass For Episode 2, Act 3

The release of a new VALORANT act always comes with a new Battle Pass with a paid track for players to unlock new weapon skins, sprays, titles, Radianite points, and other cosmetics on day one. The Battle Pass costs $10 worth of VALORANT points, but those who are not willing to spend money can unlock free rewards by completing each chapter.

A new act always comes with a new patch that aims to fix bugs, add quality-of-life improvements, and important changes to competitive balance. Riot hasn't announced anys specific changes coming with the next patch, but esports strategy expert Riley Yurk confirmed that slots were coming in an official blog post, so this is great news for the esports community.
