Valorant Pros Teabag Opponents During Champions Tour Even After Being Told Not To

Despite being advised not to teabag or shoot the enemy's corpse during a Valorant Champions Tour match, European players still decided to teabag, and clips of teabaggging surfaced after the Team Dfuse vs. G2 esports match.

Teabagging, the way of mocking an enemy once they've been taken down where players would stand on top of an enemy corpse and repeatedly crouch to show disrespect, has always been a casual part of popular FPS games like Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and Halo, but players in the Valorant Champions Tour took the act to a new level. Because of this, a screenshot of instructions uploaded by G2's Patryk "paTiTek" Fabrowski especially required the participating teams to stop doing the disrespectful act in the game.

The screenshot Patitek shared came from the game chat where the match lobby host requested the participants to stop teabagging and shooting enemy corpses. The clip of Patitek teabagging one of Dfuse's corpses went viral on social media, and some people called it "cringe" since Team Dfuse ultimately defeated G2, knocking them out of the Valorant Champions Tour, but fans thought it was worth sharing for the memes.

G2 esports owner Carlos Ocelote was also against the restriction as he refused to hold the team back from their teabagging tradition.

Since Patitek didn't break a hard rule, it's unlikely that he will get punished for teabagging his enemy. However, it remains to be seen whether Valorant esports organizers will enforce stricter rules regarding the act of teabagging in the future.
