She plays Moiraine, a member of the incredibly powerful all-female organization called the Aes Sedai. The Wheel of Time sotry features Moiraine arriving in the small town of Two Rivers. There, she embarks on a dangerous, world-spanning journey with five young men and women, one of whom is prophesied to be the Dragon Reborn, who will either save or destroy humanity.

The Wheel of Time Season 1 is currently in production, but Amazon Video hasn't announced a premiere date yet. The clip featuring the first look at Moiraine is the latest in a series of promos released for the epic fantasy series, including concept art for locations and props for the show, but this is the first clip that shows our first look at a character in costume.
