Tolarian Community College, the #1 Magic: The Gathering YouTuber, sold $140,000 worth of Magic: The Gathering cards, and gave the money to two charities that empower the Black community.

In Tolarian's new video, The Professor shows off his friend's expensive Magic collection including a Near-Mint Black Lotus as well as a full set of Beta cards, full sets of Legends, Arabian Nights, and Antiquities, and they ended up selling the collection for $140,000. He asked Black MTG content creators One More Mana and Princess from the Melina Pendulum YouTube channel to decide which charities will receive the money: Saving Our Sons & Sisters International (SOSSI) and Trans Women of Color Collective (TWOCC).

In addition to the money given to the charities, The Professor is also giving away a set of all ten foil Battle for Zendikar Expedition fetchlands and five pieces of Kaladesh Invention sword cards, and viewers who donate in integers of $4 to the charities they mentioned will have a chance to win these premium Magic cards.

You can check out the links to the giveways for SOSSI and TWOCC

The giveaway ends on Dec. 13, 2020 at 6PM PST.
