The fan-made Cube set designed by Redditor Mannervarious features custom Magic cards featuring characters, creatures, events, and places from J.R.R. Tolkien's The Hobbit and The Lord of the Rings books as well as the Peter Jackson blockbuster films that adapted the novels. According to the Cube designer, the set's gameplay is focused around combat, and many of the abilities aid you in combat or somehow affect the ever-growing battle. The archetypes for draft focus on one of the two aspects of Middle-Earth: The War and The World.

"The War archetypes focus on each group of Middle-Earth races and how their battle styles differ using named mechanics for each race," MannerVarious noted in a Google document. "The world focuses on other aspects of the world of middle earth as a whole and how it influences it's other inhabitants and conflicts."

This Cube features 10 archetypes (5 for Allied colors, 5 for Enemy colors), and the following mechanics: Alliance, Sagas, and Adventures.

You can find the all of the cards in the card image gallery of this The Lord of the Rings-inspired MTG Cube here as well as professional printing instructions the designer provided.
