Redo of Healer, based on a Japanese light novel series titled Kaifuku Jutushushi no Yarinaoshi or simply Kaiyori written by Rui Tsukiyo, has been one of the most controversial dark fantasy anime series you can stream online now, and while the show already ended its Season 1 run, some fans are already wondering if it will be renewed for Season 2.
The first season of Redo of Healer anime series was produced by the Japanese animation studio TNK, which is best known for Kandagawa Jet Girls, High School DxD, and Sin: Nanatsu no Taizai.
Before we talk about the possibility of Redo of Healer Season 2, let's take a look at the plot of Season 1: The revenge-themed anime series follows an enslaved and exploiting healing magician named Keyaru, who's bound by the knowledge that healing mages cannot fight alone, goes back 4 years to redo his life and vows to seek vengeance for those who made his life miserable and hoping for a better life.
More episodes of Redo of Healer are expected to arrive in the upcoming weeks, and the number of episodes and some of the titles have already been confirmed, but if you're already wondering if Season 2 is coming, here's everything you need to know.
Is Redo of Healer Season 2 happening?
According to the author of the original Redo of Healer light novel series, Rui Tsukiyo, the future of the anime series relies on the Blu-Ray/DVD sales of Redo of Healer Season 1.
"If the [Blu-Ray/DVD] sells well there is a possibility of [Redo of Healer] Season 2, so I hope that it will sell more and more," Tsukiyo said on Twitter. He also said that an increase in book sales is another factor.
"It would be great if you could actively [retweet] anything related to the promotion of the book," he said on February 3, 2021. "If it doesn't sell, there's no future development."
On November 20, 2021, light novel publisher Kadokawa or anime studio TNK has yet to renew Red of Healer for a second season. The first season of the anime concluded on March 31, 2021, but unfortunately, the anime hasn't received been renewed yet.
As of July 18, 2022, anime studio TNK or light novel publisher Kadokawa has yet to renew the anime for Season 2. At this stage, official news is limited, but we will update this page once we get more official confirmation.
When will Redo of Healer Season 2 be released?
Redo of Healer has not yet been renewed for a second season, but the possibility doesn't seem too far, thanks to Tsukiyo's promising quotes, the anime's popularity, and the light novel's sufficient source material.
If greenlit for production in 2022, it's likely that Redo of Healer Season 2 will be released sometime in 2023 at the earliest. It takes an average of a year to produce the anime for a new season, but first, the studio and/or network involved in the production of the anime should renew the anime for Season 2.
What's the plot of Redo of Healer Season 2?
Depending on where in the light novel series and manga Season 1 of the anime ends, Redo of Healer Season 2 will most likely pick up from there. If Season 2 follows its source material well, it will continue the adventures of Keyaru and the girls Flare (Freiya), Setsuna, Kureha Krylet, Norn, and Eve Reese, and their quest to confront the Demon Lord.
If Season 2 is faithful to the source's material, it's likely that we will see the team tour the secluded community of the Koyuyoku Tribe and join the Divine Bird Caladrius.

Where can I stream Redo of Healer Season 2?
Redo of Healer Season 2 will most likely be available to stream on HIDIVE if it ever comes out. This is one of the few official anime streaming platforms that's currently streaming the first season, so it makes sense that HIDIVE will continue to add new episodes of this dark fantasy anime series to its library. However, you won't find the uncensored version of Redo of Healer there.
It's unlikely that Redo of Healer Season 2 will arrive on Netflix, and if it comes out on Crunchyroll, it's likely that the uncensored version will not be available to stream.
