Magic: The Gathering Pro Paulo Vitor Damo da Rosa Wins Esport Player of the Year

Brazilian Magic: The Gathering professional player Paulo Vito Damo da Rosa (PDVDDR) won the eSport Player of the Year award at Brazil's eSport Awards. Earlier this year, the 33-years-old Magic player won the Magic World Championship for the 2019 season, and he is currently the all-time leader in prize money won player professional-level Magic

PVDDR was the 2016-2017 Player of the Year, and he has fourteen Pro Tour top eights to his name, including wins at Pro Tour San Juan 2010 and Pro Tour Hour of Devastation. He was elected into the Magic Hall of Fame in 2012 as the first player from South Africa.
