Magic: The Gathering Arena on Mobile Release Delayed

Magic: The Gathering Arena was expected to be released in mobile by the end of this year, but according to today's third quarter earnings call, CEO Brian Goldner said that its mobile release has been delayed until early 2021 in order to allow Wizards of the Coast to "fine tune" the popular digital card game.

Back in February, Goldner originally announced that Arena would be released on mobile in 2020, and the company confirmed in April that they "planned" to release the mobile version of the game by the end of the year, but now fans will have to wait if they want to play it on mobile.

"Just so we're clear—this is a big one, and it's going to take a lot of work to get us there," Wizards previously said. "All your cards, decks, play modes, etc" will be accessible in the mobile version of Arena."

While there's no official way to play Arena on mobile yet, some fans have found ways to access the game on mobile.
