Magic: Legends Open Beta Launches With Cinematic Trailer


Perfect World Entertainment and Cryptic Studios have finally launched the PC Open Beta for Magic: Legends, the new free-to-play ARPG set in the Multiverse of Magic: The Gathering, and a cinematic trailer has been released along with it.

The trailer highlights epic battles of various planeswalkers across the three planes featured in Magic: Legends: Dominaria, Innistrad, and Zendikar. The five regions that will be available for Open Beta are Benalia, Tolaria, Gavony, Shiv, and Tazeem. The cinematic video also teases a mysterious villain.

If you want to play the Open Beta for Magic: Legends, find out how to download the game here. Note that the Open Beta is not available for PlayStation 4 and Xbox One, but the console version of the ARPG is expected to launch when Magic: Legends releases later this year.

Here's the offiical descriptions for Magic: Legends:

An ancient force moves in the darkness, requiring adventurers to traverse various planes of the Magic: The Gathering Multiverse and gather the power needed to fight this evil. Developed by Cryptic Studios and published by Perfect World Entertainment, players will choose their path through the planes while collecting and upgrading a multitude of spells to create a powerful spell library. Players control the chaos of spell-slinging combat as they fight to save the Multiverse from its greatest threats yet.
