In the previous chapter of Kengan Omega (103), we saw Goah Ryuki sustain the shock of killing Naidan. While he can't pardon himself for how the match turned out, Kiryu ensures Ryuki that it's never too late to start afresh. The authorities also changed some rules of the tournament, and this change gave the team Purgatory an advantage over Kengan.
