Kaldheim Reveals New Black MDFC Godess Card For Reanimator Players

Wizards of the Coast has revealed another god MDFC (Modal Double-Faced Card) from the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim. The first black MDFC god revealed is Tegrid, Godess of Dread // Tegrid's Lantern, and if you love playing Reanimator decks that bring creatures from the graveyard back to the battlefield, you will love what this card does.

Whenever an opponent sacrifices a nontoken permanent or discards a permanent card, you can put that card from a graveyard onto the battlefield under your control.

Tegrid looks powerful in Commander or even Standard formats. Both sides of this MDFC looks stronger compared to the other god MDFCs revealed so far. Being able to bring back your oppponent's permanents from the graveyard or hand under you control can win you games, but you will need the right cards to take full advantage of Tegrid's abilities and make this strategy work consistently

Kaldheim is set to release on February 5, 2021 for tabletop, and Jan. 28 on Magic Arena and Magic Online. The set will be followed by Strixhaven: School of Mages, which is set to release sometime in Spring 2021.
