Kaldheim Previews Reveal The World Tree & 2 New MDFC God Cards

Wizards of the Coast has revealed more Magic: The Gathering rares from the upcoming Norse mythology-inspired set, Kaldheim today, including a new land card called The World Tree and two new MDFC (Modal Double-Faced Card) Gods cards.

The World Tree has three abilities: it adds green mana; the 2nd ability gives your lands the ability to produce mana of any color as long as you have six or more lands. The third ability requires two of each color of mana as well as sacrificing the card to put any number of God cards from your library into the battlefield.

Kaldheim will bring back the MDFC mechanic first introduced in Zendikar Rising, but instead of focusing on lands, some MDFCs in Kaldheim are gods on one side, and a legendary enchantment or legendary artifact on the other side.
