No Man's Sky is Getting a Foundation Update

If you're among those who have not yet given up on No Man's Sky as a playable game, then this may be one of the small prayers answered.

Hello Games has finally broken its massive silence to announce that it has been working on an updated, dubbed Foundation Update.

Supposedly, the new update will be targeting the base building to provide some form of foundation. It's also meant to introduce some elements that will serve as a foundation for future things to come.

"In the nine weeks since then, our small team has been hard at work on development, testing, and certification for the Foundation Update. It won't be our biggest update, but it is the start of something."

Hello Games has acknowledged that there has been quite the uproar and drama every time No Man's Sky is mentioned in forums or comments.

The developer itself has been criticized for not communicating properly with its fans, and just letting them simmer in their respective forums.

In the post, they reassured that they have been listening and that both positive and negative feedback have been noted.

There's also a small invitation (read: plea) for fans to still continue to join the journey of No Man's Sky. Of course, the hope here is that the developers will do be able to fix the game even one small part at a time.
