With Daniel Craig stepping down, there's a big question that needs answering: who will be the next James Bond? There have been several names thrown on who the next 007 would likely be, which include Idris Elba, Tom Hardy, Richard Madden, Lashana Lynch, and Cillian Murphy.

It would be hard to pick from this roster since everyone seems to be qualified to become the next MI6 Spy. First, there is Idris Elba. Should he inherit the James Bond role, he would be the first person of color to take over the character.

For Tom Hardy and Richard Madden, it is hard to tell. Both have very big engagements with Marvel. Madden, for sure, has a big contract with Marvel while Tom Hardy's possible take over of the James Bond role remains a speculation up to this writing.

Lashan Lynch is also a frontrunner. The actress recently appeared in No Time To Die, and was designated the 007 moniker at that time of James Bond's exile. Although she was just a substitute, this could be a hint that the first-ever woman and first-ever woman of color James Bond is coming.

Lastly, Peaky Blinder's Cillian Murphy. He has got the looks and the credibility. But, is he perfect for a heroic character? Truth be told, Murphy could play as the next villain but he is unlikely to inherit the iconic James Bond role.
