Deborah Snyder also served as an executive producer of the film. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Snyder said that it is quite interesting that HBO hasn't reported the numbers although there were multiple articles stating how massive Justice League was. She mentioned that it wasn't about the numbers. It was just about the completion of Zack's vision where the tragedy that turned ugly and distorted had a chance to set it right.

After the death of their daughter Autumn, the couple left Justice League in May 2017, which led to Joss Whedon overseeing the movie which had multiple reshoots during the post-productions stage.

The fans launched the #ReleasetheSnyderCut campaign on social media that went on for years. WarnerMedia eventually made the announcement to release Snyder's extended cut of the film as exclusive content to HBO Max.

The movie came out on the platform in March 2021 and received a much better critical response than its 2017 counterpart. Snyder added that the love of the fans for Zack's vision was their "why". For them, it is amazing to see people enjoy and the love they pour into the Snyders.

Zack Snyder's Justice League is available on HBO Max.
