Following the success of WandaVision, the Marvel fandom is once again gearing up for the highly-anticipated release of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on Disney+. The series will serve as the second slate in Marvel Cinematic Universe’s fourth phase. The series will be a major canon in the MCU as the series will be the aftermath of the events that occurred on Avengers: Endgame.
As WandaVision was heavily focused on the thematics, magics, mysteries, and powers, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will be bringing something from the movies. It will be action-packed with some hints of light-hearted comedy in it, which long-time beloved fans of the MCU will sure love.
WandaVision premiered on Disney+ and was available on both 4K, as well as HDR. It could either be HDR10 or Dolby Vision depending on the divide used. It is safe to say that The Falcon and the Winter Soldier will also be able to view on 4K.
Marvel fans are wondering how they can watch the series in 4K. For you to be able to watch the series on 4K, the device or screen you are using to stream it must be compatible with 4K. Another factor needed is that you need to have a fast internet connection. The Business Insider recommended that is best to have at least 25 megabits per second.
The synopsis for the series is as follows:
“After being handed the mantle of Captain America at the end of Avengers: Endgame (2019), Sam Wilson teams up with Bucky Barnes in a worldwide adventure that puts their abilities to the test as they fight the anti-patriotism group the Flag-Smashers.”
The series was first developed back in 2018. Just like WandaVision, the upcoming series used a hefty budget for The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. The series will ensure continuity within the MCU and it would be interesting to see what happened after Captain America handed down the shield to Sam Wilson aka The Falcon.
The series will contain the cinematic experience that fans often see in an MCU film. The Falcon and the Winter Soldier release date is set for March 19, 2021.
