As the release date for WandaVision is nearing its release date, many fans are asking, ‘What is the plot of WandaVision?’ This is a legitimate question of bewildered fans due to the mysterious trailers and teasers that Disney+ have been releasing. The trailers seem nothing like what fans have seen from the Marvel Cinematic Universe which makes it more interesting.

WandaVision is a canon in the MCU as two of its characters, Wanda Maximoff also known as Scarlet Witch (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany), are both participants in the major films of the Avengers. It will also be the first series in a new slate of Marvel TV shows to be released on Disney+.

As the trailers were released, fans couldn’t help but ask what is the plot of WandaVision due to its ‘trippy’ vibe with the black and white background. The series will be following the timeline after the events that occurred in Avengers: Endgame. It can be remembered that at the end of Endgame, Wanda is back from the brink of death while Vision is still dead in the hands of Thanos in Avengers: Infinity War. Since Vision died before Thanos snapped half of the universe, Vision did not return with Wanda in Endgame.

What is the Plot of WandaVision?

After the events on Avengers: Endgame, Wanda and Vision are living their ideal suburban life as a couple in the town of Westview. As they try to live their seemingly normal lives, the unusual couple also tries to conceal their powers. As the two begin to enter new decades, encounter television tropes, and meet their neighbors, the couple begins to suspect that things are not what they seem.

WandaVision’s will have a back-to-back episode on its release date. The first two episodes of the show will premiere together on January 15, with the third episode premiering a week later on January 22. Usually, Disney only releases one episode per week. There were some exceptions such as the National Geographic shows have released more than one episode at once. The Mandalorian’s first two episodes came out only three days apart, but that was due to Disney+ launching on a Tuesday, with new episodes airing Friday.

If the remaining episodes will be released weekly after that, WandaVision will conclude on March 5.

WandaVision will be released on Disney+, on January 15.
