Ever since Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson was cast as Black Adam for the DC Extended Universe film. Dwayne Johnson has been giving hints and teasing the power of the titular antihero, even going as far as saying that the hierarchy of power within the DC Universe will change. Recently, he shared his leg workout day. Judging the results, his legs might actually topple the ‘hierarchy of power’ as The Rock mentioned.

Johnson has been working out to get into shape for the Black Adam movie. He recently shared about his gains on Instagram. He mentioned that is training hard and conditioning his body for Black Adam. He added to be always grateful ‘for the grind’ and have some fun along the way. With this caption, he shared an image of him showcasing his ripped legs.

In the past, the actor already shared a couple of photos, showcasing the muscular physique that he is building for the film. His recent post simply showcased his ripped legs which go to prove that Black Adam doesn’t skip leg day.

The plot details for the film are still under wraps. However, it has been confirmed that the movie will feature members from the Justice Society of America. The members included are Quintessa Swindell’s Cyclone, Aldis Hodge’s Hawkman, and Noah Centineo’s Atom Smasher. The other character to join is Doctor Fate, a character that has no actor to its name yet.

Actress Sarah Shahi will also join the cast, but her character has not yet been announced. Nonetheless, her DC research may be pointing to her playing the role of Isis, an Egyptian woman, who was turned into a godlike being due to the Amulet of Isis.

CBR stated that there were reports that if Black Adam does very well at the box office, DC may proceed with a Justice Society spinoff.

Black Adam was supposed to be released on December 22, 2021, but because of the pandemic, it was moved. Filming is set to begin in the coming spring but there is no release date set for the movie as of yet.
