Sony has made another change to the theatrical release schedule of Venom: Let There Be Carnage's release date. This will be another setback for the film that was delayed multiple times due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Venom: Let There Be Carnage was originally scheduled to debut on October 20, 2020. Due to the circumstances surrounding the pandemic, it was pushed to a later date at June 25, 2021, and was pushed further on September 17, 2021. During the first time of the delay, the producer said that they wanted to wait before resuming their filming schedule.

This was done to ensure that everyone in the crew is comfortable in doing so. He added that they were building a plan to put as much protection around the crew as they can. The film's producer also added they discussed plans and factors they have to take into account.
