John de Lancie Annoyed Patrick Stewart While Filming For Star Trek: Picard

Actor John de Lancie is reportedly filming two seasons for Star Trek: Picard. The actor isn't good at keeping secrets of his Cameo fans. He tipped off the fans in his return as Q in Star Trek: Picard, before the First Contact Day announcement. Now the actor may have once again revealed that he is filming two seasons of Picard. As he was filming, he apparently annoyed Sir Patrick Stewart.

TrekMovie spotted that the actor stated that "Q is coming back" and added that in the last two weeks, he has been filming on Picard. He added that Patrick Stewart was delighted to see him for the first couple of days. Stewart apparently asked de Lancie how many episodes he will be doing which he says can be synonymous with "When are you going to get out of my face?" De Lancie quips that the statement is a way of Stewart being annoyed by him. He further added that they are shooting season two and three at the same time right now.

Paramount+ has not announced any renewal for Picard's third season. However, the producers hinted at a three-season plan for Picard in the past. Still, Paramount+ has avoided plans of filming the second and third seasons. In a Cameo video, de Lancie may have added more fire to the speculations.

Filming two seasons at the same time will surely help in making up for the lost time during the pandemic. Even though Paramount+ renewed Picard for a second season before the first season even premiered, the production faced delays brought by the pandemic.

Star Trek: Picard is available for streaming on Paramount+.
