Fortnite Adds Star Wars’ Han Solo Easter Egg Aside From The Mandalorian Skin

Fornite Chapter 2 Season 4 had an explosive finale, as millions of players across the world defeat the supervillain Galactus. Following this cataclysmic event, Chapter 2 Season 5 has arrived. It is called ‘Zero Point' which involves hunters from various realities to join forces and fight "the loop".

Fortnite Season 5 is now live on Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Series S, PS4, PS5, Nintendo, and PC. The best part is that it has added new Star Wars content. It has addedThe Mandalorian, accompanied by The Child named Grogu (also known by fans as Baby Yoda) for its skin and NPC.

The Mandalorian is not the first time for Fortnite to have some Star Wars content in the game and it is also not the only SW content to be part of Season 5. There is a Han Solo Easter egg included which pays homage to the classic Star Wars films.

Many SW fans are aware that one of the most iconic imagery in the franchise is Han Solo frozen in carbonite. It was a scene that almost did not make the final cut but it ended up getting into the film. That particular iconic scene is now in Fortnite. The Easter egg that pays homage to that scene is not exactly Han Solo but rather Peely, who couldn't outrun Din Djarin. Aside from The Mandalorian skin and the Han Solo homage, it is quite unclear whether there are other SW easter eggs included in Season 5.

In Season 5, players can help the island characters through quests and bounties. The players can also hire them as an ally. Aggressive players can challenge the new island characters to duels and gain rewards. Players who pay those new characters need bars. Those bars can be earned by eliminating other players, completing, quests, and finding hidden bar stashes. The aforementioned bars can be used to buy services, intel, upgrades, and new exotic weapons.

Fortnite is available for free on various gaming devices and Season 5 has begun last December 2.
