Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni, and the rest of the creative team at Lucasfilm are working hard in developing The Mandalorian Season 3. The series will see the shift in Din  Djarin’s journey as he will go on his journey without Grogu aka Grogu. It seems that it will be the point of the story that will heavily focus on his future with the Mandalore, especially as he is wielding the Darksaber.

Executive producer, director, and writer Dave Filoni went on a Good Morning America appearance where he teased the upcoming third season. He didn’t explain too much to give some update to the fans but he seemingly hinted about a major focus in the upcoming third season of the hit Star Wars series.

Grogu using The Force

Filoni stated that there are a lot of new adventures that are coming up for season 3. He also stated that he needed to be careful and cannot say anything specific. However, Filoni mentioned that in season 3, “the Force will be strong with this one.”

What exactly does, “the Force will be strong with this one” mean? Stating that “the Force is strong with this one” is a Star Wars reference. This statement even became a meme or praise to someone in the real world. It is used to reference that something is special or admirable in a person. However, in the Star Wars universe, the reference of this statement is stating that someone has the potential power of becoming a Jedi or a Sith.

This reference and Filoni stating that “the Force is strong with this one” may hint at a possibility that a character in season 3 might become a Jedi or even a Sith. However, Filoni could simply just reference that season 3 will be special.

There is no confirmed release date as of yet for The Mandalorian Season 3.
