The launch of Cyberpunk 2077 was far from smooth but CD Projekt Red is committed to making improvements to the game. Despite the complaints and hiccups, Cyberpunk 2077 is still considered one of the biggest launches for a video game.
The first major patch of the game fixed some issues within the game. CDPR continuously adds updates here and there. However, there are still some issues that players are noticing such as the item randomization, as well as save or load looting issues.
The studio's latest patch fixes those bugs. The new update is rolled out for PC, consoles, and Stadia. Cyberpunk 2077 received the patch on January 28. The latest patch aims to fix issues with loot exploits, item randomization, and ‘Down the Street quest. This is quite a small update but the patch is still helpful.
The Cyberpunk 2077 patch 1.1 fixed the item randomization while the save or load loot exploit issues will receive further investigation from the game developer. The bug on the ‘Down on the Street' quest is fixed.
The ‘Down on the Street' quest bug is an issue that happens for some players when in a call holocall with Takemura. It occurs when the players use a save which was made on version 1.06 for the ‘Down the Street' quest in progress at the objective for the ‘Wait For Takemura's call'. When loading to save version 1.1, the holocall will have no dialogue options, and will even block interactions with other non-player characters in the game.
Other problems and bugs will get new patches. CDPR revealed that they are committed to spending the majority of 2021 to fix numerous glitches and bugs in the game. There will be some free DLC additions. However, any major expansions will be delayed for next year.
