Captain Britain Development Hypes the 'Henry Cavill Marvel' Rumors


After recent reports of a Superman reboot in the DCEU, the future of Henry Cavill's Superman seems to be uncertain. There are reports that Cavill is apparently looking for another big franchise to join. Some rumors suggest that Cavill is highly considered to become the next James Bond. Not only is it rumored that Cavill may become the next James Bond, but he may also appear in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Captain Britain. This report further hypes up the 'Henry Cavill Marvel' rumor that he may join the franchise soon.

Tipster Mikey Sutton is claiming that Cavill is currently on Marvel's shortlist to play the role of Captain Britain. He is also reportedly at the top of their choice. Captain Britain was briefly mentioned in Avengers: Endgame by Peggy Carter. This proves that Captain Britain is out there somewhere in the MCU.

As the MCU continues to expand, the character may soon make a live-action debut soon. Sutton stated that the discussion between the two parties hasn't taken place yet. Cavill still has one movie left on his Superman deal in the DCEU. However, even if he still has a DC film to fulfill, it doesn't mean that he cannot start working on other deals, especially with his character's tenure in the DCEU is quite uncertain. If the "Henry Cavill Marvel' rumor about Captain Britain is true, his fans will surely follow him, whichever franchise he chooses to join.

It has to be noted that Cavill's Superman is not entirely gone as of yet although there is some level of uncertainty. Currently, Cavill is doing well with Netflix's The Witcher. As of the moment, the reports about Cavill being eyed as Captain America came from tipsters so take this news with a grain of salt.
