CDPR Says Cyberpunk 2077 Add-On Names on Epic Games Store Aren't DLC

Cyberpunk 2077's subreddit has uncovered various names on the Epic Games Store which was believed to be some of the names for the upcoming content from Cyberpunk 2077. This speculation has made players and fans excited. However, CD Projekt Red came out to clarify those names.

According to IGN, a CD Projekt representative reached out to them, stating that the names on the Epic Games Store are DLCs for Cyberpunk 2077. If those names are not DLCs, then what exactly are they?

In the Cyberpunk 2077 subreddit, a user called u/PricklyAssassin shared some images of the now-defunct add-on page for Cyberpunk 2077 in the Epic Games Store. It is a series of blank listing of seemingly a list of content for the game. Apparently, the add-on page was seen on the Epic Games Store, shortly after the new 1.2 patch but was already removed.

However, CDPR confirmed the plan of releasing free DLCs and some paid expansions in their recent strategy update. The company also announced that it will be changing its marketing strategy to avoid confusing its customers.

CD Projekt confirmed its 2021 plans which include the patches, next-gen update, and free DLCs in the works for Cyberpunk 2077. Before CDPR reaffirmed Cyberpunk would have a similar post-launch strategy as The Witcher 3 with some free smaller DLCs, there will also be some larger page expansions that will be sold separately.
