Walt Disney Animation has officially announced Frozen 2, a feature length sequel to the popular animated 2014 film, Frozen. The film was confirmed at a shareholder meeting held on March 12.
Creators Chris Buck and Jennifer Lee will return to work on the sequel, and Josh Gad is confirmed to be return for his role as the voice of Olaf, the sentient snowman. No details about the sequel's plot or release dates have been revealed.
The animated short Frozen Fever, featuring the cast of the original Frozen, debuts in front of Disney's Cinderella, which is set to release on March 13, 2015.
