Did This Magic: The Gathering Player Get Caught Cheating on Video?

Another Magic: The Gathering player was allegedly caught cheating during a tournament, and it was caught on video.

A Redditor pointed out the clip of the Legacy format match between Frederico Lemos and Joaquim Damasceno at the 10ª Final Circuito LigaMagic event. At the 5-hour 34-minute mark of the video (above), Lemos is seen cracking a Misty Rainforest to put an Island into play but before he presented the searched card, he was seen sliding exactly one card to the top as if it was done deliberately. Then he shuffled his deck lightly once without even presenting it to his opponent as he tried to talk to him about the Sylvan Library copy in play. After he drew the top card, his opponent reminded him that he still needed to cut the deck, so Lemos put back one of the cards from his hand back on top so his opponent can reshuffle the deck. However, it might have been too late. It's likely that he put a different card on top, something he probably didn't need.

Do you think Lemos was obviously cheating? Many in the Magic community pointed out this clip, even Pro Tour Rivals of Ixalan champion Luis Salvatto shared this tweet:

This isn't the first time this kind of cheating technique was caught on video. At the 8:20 mark of the video below, Ryan Hipp was spotted doing something similar:

I think it's still ridiculous how players still cheat even if they know that every move they make is captured on video.
