Deadpool Comic Creator Wants A Theme Park Attraction For The Merc With A Mouth

20th Century Fox did pretty well with its Tim Miller's Deadpool movie last year. The ass-kicking, sharp-witted comicbook movie made a global total of $783.1 million in the box office despite only having a budget of $58 million, making it the world's highest R-rated film of all time.

Now, with Deadpool's success, the Merc with a Mouth's creator Robert Liefeld wants his witty, meta-talking mercenary to get his own ride after Guardians of the Galaxy's Mission Breakout attraction became a hit with theme park goers.

Taking to Twitter, Liefeld began commenting on the long lines fans are making just to try the Guardians of the Galaxy's new ride, Mission: Breakout! and hoped that Fox would catch up with Marvel and Disney, saying that strong presences of comicbook characters at theme parks like Disneyland help in the success of comicbook movies.

Check out the Tweets down here:

Like Liefeld alludes, the Marvel Cinematic Universe has the distinct advantage of getting its own rides at Disneyland considering that the franchise is currently being owned by Disney. It would take Fox some time to catch up, but wouldn't a ride for Deadpool be pretty fun to try out?

Deadpool 2 hits cinemas on June 1, 2018.
