Deadpool 2 Will Have a More Mature Negasonic Teenage Warhead

With the expected team-up of Deadpool with the other X-Men somewhere down the line, it's no wonder that some fans are clamoring for the return of the moody and snarky Negasonic Teenage Warhead.

Portrayed by Brianna Hildebrande, the character is now confirmed to make a comeback with Deadpool 2. And that's not all. She's going to prove that teenagers grow up so fast, because in a matter of a year—at least in the real world—we'll see the teenager change in time for the sequel.

Speaking to Screenrant, Hildebrand teased that even though she hasn't seen the script yet. she's looking forward to a big change.

"I do think she will be a lot cooler, based on the wardrobe ideas and stuff. I'm very excited. Just some ideas, nothing that's concrete or anything. But I think it's cool that she's grown and matured and she still has so much of this essence of a punk kid."

She has also reportedly seen some concept art, so it's possible that this big change goes beyond what's on the inside and may give her character a new look too. But we're pretty sure that whatever look she'll be sporting, the running gag of her look-alikes won't disappear.

Deadpool 2 is still in production, with David Leitch at the helm as director. Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick will be back as writers, and Ryan Reynolds as the titular Merc with a Mouth. The movie is slated for a theater release on March 2, 2018.
