Dave Bautista Seemingly Confirms Involvement In Valiant’s Eternal Warrior Film Adaptation

It looks like Professional wrestler turned Hollywood star Dave Bautista might actually be working on a film adaptation of Valiant Comics Eternal Warrior comicbook series.

After being asked by a fan about the project on Twitter, Bautista has openly confirmed that he's currently working on the project.

The Marvel star seenms pretty excited to be part of another comic book movie, and though Valient CEO and CCO Dinesh Shamdasani tries to keep the piece by neither confirming or denying Bautista's involvement in the project, fans just might see the Hollywood actor take on the role of Gilad Anni-Padda.

Bautista is no stranger to the comicbook genre – not only does the former wrestler star in the Marvel Cinematic Universe as Drax the Destroyer, the actor also appeared in Spectre as Mr. Hinx. Bautista certainly has the build of a warrior and we're pretty sure that he'd fight like one on the big screen too. After all, Drax doesn't let anything get over his head, does he?

Those who aren't familiar with The Eternal Warrior can check out this description of The Valiant, a Valiant Comics series released back in 2015 featuring the Eternal Warrior.

"The Eternal Warrior has protected the Earth for more than 10,000 years. A master of countless weapons and long forgotten martial arts, he is guided by the Geomancers – those who speak for the Earth. During his long watch, the Eternal Warrior has failed three times. Each time, the Geomancer was killed…and a new dark age for humanity began. Each time, he was unable to stop The Immortal Enemy – a monstrous force of nature. A civilization killer. A horror that appears differently each time it arrives…and whose seemingly only purpose is to bring disorder and darkness to the world. Now, the time has come for The Immortal Enemy to return once more. But, this time, the Eternal Warrior will be ready. "

The Eternal Warrior film adaptation has no release date yet, but we'll keep everyone updated as soon as we get word.
