Chris Hemsworth Wants A Good Script For Potential Thor Comeback

Avengers: Infinity War and its unnamed sequel are going to mark a huge turning point for the MCU. Not only is this a culmination of previous storylines but a number of big stars are likely leaving after the two films. Chris Evans has basically essentially said goodbye already, while others have hinted that they could be making a comeback. One of those other actors might be the God of Thunder himself, Chris Hemsworth.

Hemsworth has done a great job as Thor, even if two of his three films aren't that great. The actor is well aware of this, which is why he liked being in Thor: Ragnarok so much. While his time in the MCU is coming to an end, he did mention one thing that would bring him back; a good script.

Speaking with Digital Spy, Hemsworth says he could come back if a quality script is brought to his attention. However, if that isn't the case, he seems to be content with his MCU exit. Here is his full statement:

"We felt like we reinvented the last one in a big way. It felt refreshed and re-energised. We might have a conversation if there's another great script that comes along. But at the moment that's it."

Considering how much fun Hemsworth was having in Ragnarok, it's easy to see why he would feel this way. The Thor actor has also mentioned wanting to work with director Taika Waititi again after having a great experience with him. Here's hoping the two reunite in the future, Marvel property or not.

Avengers: Infinity War comes out on May 4. The unnamed sequel comes out on May 3.
