Andrew Garfield has vehemently denied his involvement in Spider-Man: No Way Home, but there are three reasons why his supporters are convinced that he's not telling the truth.
Last week, Andrew Garfield told Variety that he understands why his fans do not believe him when he says that he won't make an appearance in Spider-Man: No Way Home.
"But it's important for me to say on the record that this is not something I'm aware I am involved in. But I know I'm not going to be able to say anything that will convince anyone that I don't know what's happening. No matter what I say, I'm [expletive]. It's either going to be really disappointing for people or it's going to be really exciting," he said.

Since Spider-Man: No Way Home will take place in multiverses, there's a huge possibility for more than one Spider-Man to be featured in the film.
Of course, actor Tom Holland will continue to headline the movie. But there's always a possibility for the two other Peter Parkers aka Spider-Man to make a cameo.
So, other than Garfield, there are also speculations that Tobey Maguire would star in Spider-Man: No Way Home.

Twitter user @Pollos_Hernandy claimed that Maguire has indirectly confirmed his participation in Spider-Man: Now Way Home. And if he will be in the movie, fans of the franchise are convinced that Garfield will also be there.
The fan came across Maguire recently and asked the actor if he will join the cast of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Maguire didn't say anything, but he reportedly smiled and winked at the fan.
As such, the fan couldn't help but speculate that this was the actor's way of telling him that he will be in the movie.

There were also reports claiming that Garfield's stunt double was spotted near the set of Spider-Man: No Way Home. And the sighting led fans to speculate even more on the possibility of Garfield making a cameo.
For now, one can only wait for confirmation from Garfield, Maguire, or the Marvel Cinematic Universe (MCU).
It is possible that the franchise is just keeping things under wraps to surprise fans. But it's also entirely possible for Andrew Garfield to be telling the truth about his non-participation Spider-Man: No Way Home.
Spider-Man: No Way Home is slated for release on December 17.
