Marvel Studio's is finally delivering the goods! It's been over a year since the last movie released in the MCU and now Disney is finally giving us their first Marvel Studio television series! WandaVision will be releasing on January 15, 2021 and take's place after the events of Avengers: Infinity War.
The series will focus on Wanda Maximoff, also known as The Scarlet Witch, and Vision. It's great to see these Avengers getting their own TV series as they hardly had any screen time in the MCU. In-fact they have less than an hour combined in screen time. Iron Man had about that much in Avengers: Endgame alone!
The series plot is as follows:
"Marvel Studios' WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems."
Many people question how Vision can return to the show given that he died in Avengers: Infinity War. While we don't know how yet, there has been much speculation. Part of Wanda's powers includes reality warping. Based on the trailer's it looks like she is maintaining some kind of faux universe that is being unraveled. Is Vision really there, or is it a figment of her imagination? We will have to wait to find out.
What Time Do New Episodes of WandaVision Come Out?
New episodes of WandaVision are expected to release at 3:00 AM US EST, starting January 15, 2021. This is based on the release times of other Disney+ exclusive shows. The reason WandaVision would release at 3:00 AM US EST instead of midnight is so that it releases everywhere in the Continental US on the same day (sorry Hawaii and Alaska). In other words, the show releases at midnight California time.
New episodes of the series will come out weekly every Friday. There will be a total of nine episodes released.

WandaVision will be canon to the MCU and considered part of the MCU timeline. This means the events of the show can and will affect the rest of the MCU. It's been rumored that Mephisto may be introduced in WandaVision. We also expect Mephisto to appear in Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, which features Wanda Maximoff.
The series was given a PG rating, which makes it the most family-friendly Marvel Studios series produced to date. This is likely in order to broaden the Marvel audience on the Disney+ platform and introduce more people to the MCU.
The only way to watch WandaVision is with a Disney+ subscription. It is also unlikely that the series will be released on DVD anytime soon. You can purchase a monthly plan for $6.99 or an annual plan for $69.99. The only way to watch the series in 4K is with a 25Mbps connection or higher to a Disney+ connected device.
Disney+ will also be releasing 4 other Marvel original TV series later this year; including, Hawkeye, The Falcon and the Winter Soldier, and Loki.
