WandaVision Release Date? - January 15th, 2021

WandaVision is set to release on January 15, 2021 at 3:00 AM US EST on Disney Plus. The series will release with a two-episode premiere. Episodes are expected to be a little longer than 30 minutes each. The series will continue weekly until the finale comes out on March 5, 2021. There will then be a one week pause followed by the premiere of The Falcon and the Winter Soldier on March 19, 2021

WandaVisionis canon and takes place in continuity with the MCU. The plot for WandaVision is as follows:

"Marvel Studios' WandaVision blends the style of classic sitcoms with the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff (Elizabeth Olsen) and Vision (Paul Bettany)—two super-powered beings living their ideal suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems…The series is a blend of classic television and the Marvel Cinematic Universe in which Wanda Maximoff and Vision—two super-powered beings living idealized suburban lives—begin to suspect that everything is not as it seems."

WandaVision Villain? Grim Reaper, Mephisto, Agatha Harkness, Nightmare, and more.

According to plot leaks, the main antagonist of WandaVision is Grim Reaper, who is one of Vision's main enemies. Mephisto may also play a part according to various fan theories based on the comics and information we know so far.

Early critical reviews have been promising. Critics have been praising Elizabeth Olsen's performance as Wanda Maxmioff. A few commentators also noted that the series took risks which paid off and open Marvel television into a whole new universe to explore outside of what is expected in the MCU.

WandaVision Episode Count? 9 Episodes Long

Disney officially confirmed the series will be 9 episodes long, with a two-episode premiere followed by weekly episodes until the series finale. This seems to replicate the approximate episode count strategy from The Mandalorian, with the focus being on relatively few but big-budget and high-quality episodes. Will it pay off in WandaVision as well?

WandaVision Blu Ray? - No…

WandaVisionwill not be released on Blu-ray or DVD anytime soon. The series is a Disney+ exclusive aiming to get new subscribers to their service. Disney has yet to release and DVDs for Disney+ exclusives and has not announced any plans to do so.

WandaVision Rating? It is rated PG and safe for kids.

WandaVision has the most family-friendly rating of any official Marvel Studios production. It is rated PG and was filmed sitcom-style in front of a live studio audience. The show was intended as a gateway to the MCU on Disney+ to introduce everyone into the universe. So sit back with your family and enjoy!
